Don’t tease me.
What annoys me more is the voice over. Its supposed to be the helicopter pilot talking but its obviously added later. All the guy is doing is telling you exactly what you are watching. Why do they feel the need to add it?
I’m the same way with Tina Fey’s mouth. I haven’t bothered to look it up but it seems that she may have a scar or something which makes her mouth open unevenly. She is a very attrative woman but I can only watch her mouth when she is speaking.
Since the topic of stock sounds has been brought up I’ll add another.
The Woohoooooo falling sound made by everyone who falls in the old Disney cartoons. Both Goofy and Donald have exactly the same scream whenever they fall down somewhere.
I love Barry Manilow’s voice :o , but I recently noticed that when there’s a word like “you” or “now”, he adds an extra “uh” at the end. For instance, in “Could it be Magic”, he sings: “Let me know the wonder of all of you-uh”. I noticed it when I was listening to his live CD and I haven’t listened to since. It seriously bugs me.
Also, my staff person is a very manly woman with a deep voice. When a customer calls and they ask her a question, she says (very deeply), “Uuuuhhhhh”. It’s just like Butthead from Beavis and Butthead. It’s also the sound I make when making fun of someone, “Duuuuhhhhh”. It makes her sound more stupid than she is (not difficult to do) and annoys the living f** out of me*!!!
Teeth. I always notice teeth. If people don’t have nice teeth, it bugs me so much! I won’t be able to concentrate on what they are saying. Only on their terrible teeth. When I see yellow or brown rotting teeth, with large gaps, I get shudders up and down my spine it bothers me that much.

I’ve got another. On the Weezer DVD during the Hash Pipe video’s commentary, they said that only bout 3 of the sumo wrestlers were really wrestlers. Ever since then I’ve been trying to fine the real 3 wrestlers.
Speaking of stock sound effects, there’s one I’ve heard SO many times… anyone recognize this one popular audio of a baby giggling? They use it mainly in commercials. I love baby sounds but this one’s not cute at all because it’s just used way too much.
One time I was imagining all these tv commercial makers going to a website to search for stock sound effects, and upon searching of “baby giggle” they’d come up with search results and that overused giggle would be at the top of the list with a “Popular!” GIF flashing beside it. shudders
Another one is Celine’s breathing in between lines in “My Heart Will Go On.” I never noticed it until someone pointed it out, and now I hear her breathing every time the song is on. :mad:
