Think of a city in Germany besides Berlin

Hamburg

Munich.

Munich. Munchie-town.

Hamburg. I think I thought of it even before Berlin. Frankfort would also be up there.

Königsburg also comes to mind, mostly because of the bridge puzzle.

Hamburg. I don’t know a whole lot about the city but an Otto Dix painting titled “The Goodbye to Hamburg” came to mind.

Konigsburg hasn’t been a German/Prussian city since 1945

Munich

Essen.

Lubeck, HQ of the medieval Hanseatic League of trading city states.

Kiel, HQ of the Imperial German Navy ca. mid 19th century- WWI.

Both are located in Schelswig-Holstein on the Baltic side of the Jutland peninsula.

Leipzig. As usual with these threads, I have no idea why that one popped into my head.

Kaiserslautern. K-Town, as Americans refer to it.

Alten Schweren, Mecklenburg (where my German immigrant came from)

Essen for me also, simply because it is often a crossword puzzle answer.

Frankfurt

Bonn

Because it was the capital of West Germany.

Neustadt. All of them.

Koenigberg, Danzig, Strassburg, Breslau, Elbing, Memel

Zombie cities perfect for Halloween
