I don’t know when OMG last logged in, but my search results show OMG’s last posting date as November 7.
Hmmm… don’t know why my search SDMB search results don’t show you posting anything after Nov. 7. I think I’ll put a question about this in ATMB.
Just ran the search again with the same result. The search shows this one as your most recent post, OMG. My apologies for believing you’d skedaddled.
Clicking that link gets me a “sorry, no matches” result.
Go to his profile and search for “all posts by”. That’s where I got it from.

Oh, fuck, I figured it out, it was SUE (Stupid User Error), I forgot to change the search parameters from “threads started by user” to “posts by user”. I shouldn’t be doing this stuff so late at night.

I don’t think it was run of the mill trollery just for shiggles, or even for recreational FUD. To me the two options are deluded posters who were actually convinced that their guy was gonna win and are too embarrassed to come back, or, considering they vanished right after the election, well, are we allowed to bring up the possibility of paid shillery here?

I’d meant to address the accusations of shilling before, he did change his mind (at least to a degree) in the Citizens United thread. I just couldn’t point it out when I was pretending to be my political opposite.

Noticed a drop in right wing posting all around. They may be stepping away from an internet that doesn’t echo their desired view of reality and was (at least in respect to the election) proven correct. In some other places, people who monitor right wing sites for giggles have noted a sharp decrease in posting on those sites as well.
The best possible outcome, which is therefore extremely improbable, is that many people are stepping back to think about all the stuff they keep being told by the right wing media entertainment complex which turns out to be untrue; and hopefully re-examing their own viewpoints.
