The author and webmaster behind www.threeringmarriage.com was a teacher at my high school. His last year was the year 00-01, and he has since moved to some rural town. My mother, a teacher at my school, had a classroom across the hall from his. He once made a remark suggesting that we join their family (he has two wives and seven children). Furthermore, contrary to his website claim that he taught “emotionally disturbed children,” he actually worked in a form of special education.
It’s so bizarre to see his name referred to as such, when just two years ago he was eating lunch in the large commons at the teacher’s table like all the others.
WOW next time anyone needs websites designed please do ask this guy to set u up…after all who wouldn’t want some great looking design and the knowledge that by hiring him you are supporting the greater cause all at once!
Estoy confundido. I may have missed part of his website, but does it say there that he mistreats his wives or his children, or that his wives are subjugated to him in some way or do not enjoy rights in the marriage that he does?
Or is this just another EW! GROSS! rant about polyamory?
matt beat me to the punch. Show me that he’s doing damage to someone, or I’m not going to get all excercised about his love & family life. Even if he is a crappy web designer.
The SDMB never ceases to suprise me. I see threads about open marriages, promiscuity, all manner of “deviations” and they are considered perfectly normal. Then turn around and see those same behaviors vilified. :boggle:
Selective open-mindedness is something I’ve never been able to justify.
