My brother has done some comercial work and I watched him make one once. The most boring thing I’ve ever done. They did takes till they ran out of video. He told me later that their idea was ‘hey we rented the studio for all day so we should shoot all day’. The 30 sec spot had about 10 shots total so they did a couple hundred takes of each one.
I was thinking that all the moving parts were computer animation.

Can’t say I have. I would check Ad Critic for them but those guys started charging. Pay to watch an advert… I think not. Anyway, I agree the commercial is terrifically neat, I just thought perhaps our newest member Paint CHiPs was taking it a little too seriously. There must be better uses for a worldwide debunking effort.
