Ok, just trying to get your attention, and you know, I bet it worked! RU486 is some sort of morning after pill, right? Is the name in any way connected to a question of whether a morning after pill (if it in fact does this, which I think it doesn’t) aborting a fetus should be on the market? (RU486=are you in support of killing)?

Is it? You’re the one coming up with this thread. Shouldn’t you know what you’re talking about?

I sincerely doubt that the people who came up with the pill would name it something intended to make people question whether or not they want to use it.
Also, it’s not a fetus yet by the morning after.

Of course I know that by the morning after it is not a fetus (and thank you so much for pointing the fallacies in my post, if it is even acceptable to call it that). I was just wondering if it was in a connection to the great abortion debate in general; I didn’t mean that it had to have a direct and meaningless connection.

  1. RU486 is NOT a morning after pill. A true morning after pill is taken within a very short time of unprotected sex (I THINK it’s 72 hours, but I’m not sure). RU486 is an abortificant, used for early (first trimester) abortions
