This is how you blow a very winnable election

Thank you for posting to Biden’s full comment, which is worth quoting here.

“Yesterday in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Jacob Blake was shot seven times in the back as police attempted to restrain him from getting into his car. His children watched from inside the car and bystanders watched in disbelief.

And this morning, the nation wakes up yet again with grief and outrage that yet another Black American is a victim of excessive force. This calls for an immediate, full and transparent investigation and the officers must be held accountable.

These shots pierce the soul of our nation. Jill and I pray for Jacob’s recovery and for his children.

Equal justice has not been real for Black Americans and so many others. We are at an inflection point. We must dismantle systemic racism. It is the urgent task before us. We must fight to honor the ideals laid in the original American promise, which we are yet to attain: That all men and women are created equal, but more importantly that they must be treated equally.”

Great, inspiring words, aimed at all decent people.

BTW, I notice that you haven’t mentioned the white teenage out-of-state militia member who happened to kill people during the protest. Why not? What do you have to say about that shooting?

Zogby is not a real poll. If you’re interested in real polling data, follow Nate Silver.

It’s not a good look for Biden or the D’s!

Silver rates Zogby at a C+. You know, like Trump’s college grades.

Democrats probably won’t want to get in that kind of discussion. Biden finished near the bottom of his class and Harris failed the bar exam the first try.

Good for you for following Nate Silver! If you continue to do so, you’ll have the best data driven look at the polls that exists.

I’d say the cops are in the process of working their way right across the Great Lakes states from MN to PA.

Zogby and Rasmussen don’t make Democrats nervous.

Thank you for answering the direct question I asked you.

Oh, wait. You ignored that entirely. I wonder why.

Those are the polls that make money from Republican staffers willing to spend money to show a good poll to their boss.

Offered without comment necessary.
(Watch the damned video!)

I have no idea what Trump’s grades were. Is this what you are talking about?

It’s Biden’s fault that some people at the protests are rioting and looting? Sounds weird but ok

Biden’s not stupid, he’ll make a separation at some point, more than once if he has to. Maybe Harris will get in on the action.

Exclusively blaming Trump as some might suggest, is not going to be enough.

He can disavow assholes without disavowing BLM, it’s not that difficult. He’ll just have to listen to fringy Twitter cry for a couple of days and threaten not to vote for him, I’m sure he can handle that and isn’t afraid of it.

Every Dem presidential nominee has to do some variation of it at some point.

Partially, yeah, being the poster boy (poster grandpa?) of failed Establishment Democratic-ism. Biden was part of the problem over the last few decades, now he’s desperately trying to reinvent himself as a solution. A return to centrism is appealing to those who benefited under it, but it’s not meaningfully better for those who were already oppressed before under the Democrats. Some folks aren’t buying this Biden-as-savior marketing and are simply saying “fuck it all”. Or just opportunistically looting.

You don’t get widespread national violent riots without serious fucked-up-ness in your country, the same fucked-up-ness largely caused by two corrupt parties vying for power over people. When neither Team Blue nor Team Red really cares about you, Team You and your buddies is all ya got left.

Did Biden condemn violence during the convention? Did any Democrat condemn violence during the convention?

Did any R denouce during their “convention” the suborning of everything he USA stands for by Trump?

Not during the convention. But Democrats regularly condemn violence by Antifa and BLM linked protests:

They have not stopped doing so.

Thanks…that’s what I thought. They must be seeing some bad polling today.
