They are also mad that Fox didn’t cover the rally, called out every ‘patriot’ from Palin To Nugent for not supporting the cause or attending, and apparently Glenn Beck said something bad about them so now he’s an enemy, too.
They also think some potential attendees went to Bundy’s ranch in Nevada instead of DC and that’s why the turn out was so low.
How odd that none of the local DC stations covered the rally… channel 7 thought it was more important to report on the flooding in the area and the guy who killed his toddler son with a drug overdose. Media conspiracy, for sure. Maybe they shoulda picked a slow news day?
Bored last night and doing some random googling on this, I found a site extolling the wonders of the movement, and they had a page full of crowds on the Mall pictures, implying of course that the whole thing was a crazy success.
Most of the pictures were actually from the 50th anniversary of the March On Washington…
Well, I took one for the team and watched about 15 minutes of a video of this ‘revolution’. Looks like about 200 or so folks gathered around the base of the Washington monument to make their ‘March’ on… I donno, I think they went to the Capitol or the White house. Not sure which direction they went, I’ve only been to the Mall once and it was a crappy cell phone vid.
They started chanting ‘Impeach Obama’ as they walked. From my perspective, and the looks of things. Basically a bunch of clueless racists. So nothing new.
Sucks, or maybe funny for the tourists there at the time. I would have been annoyed but giggling inside.
