This is just stupid . . . no really, it is.

I gave 5 gallons of blood to the Red Cross over the last 10 years. I would go 5 or 6 times a year to donate. This was after I had a heart attack and CABG x4 almost 12 years ago.

We moved to Israel last year.

The blood rules are different here. Someone from the family needs to donate blood at least once a year so we will have “blood insurance.” If this is not done, and God forbid someone in the family will need blood, we would need to arrange for people to donate as much blood as is used.

But they won’t let me donate here !

I can’t donate because I had a heart attack. Almost 12 years ago. Even though my health has been good since then, and I gave 5 gallons since then. This does not matter here.

I’m not a happy camper.

When you say “we” moved to Israel, do you mean family? Does your wife (if you have one) count as family?
