I knew about the post-count-padding thread restriction, so I guess I thought the post-count party thread restriction was the same thing.
Mea culpa.

I thought about trying to hit 4000 posts today, but quite frankly I’m too lazy to bother.
This is my twelve thousand and somethingth post. Presuming an average of, say, fifty words per post (I’m as apt to pound out a lengthy screed as dash off a one-line drive-by), I’ve basically written five or ten novels here.
And no actual novels, y’know, elsewhere.
So, yeah. :o

But yes, I hit 8,000 yesterday and blew right past it without worry.

I didn’t know there was a ban against such threads. Rules who reads rules. Just do what you want and I’m sure you’ll learn all the rules eventualy complete with consiquences.
I don’t care for post count threads I see on other boards. I’m kinda happy to learn they are banned here.
But you ensure that you go for **quality ** over quantity. I know most people strongly prefer that.
But a good number of them are sports related, and if we keep up enough sports threads we might get a sports forum. I think LOUNE is helping me in this endeavor.
