This is my 5,130th Post!!!

This is my 470th post! Let’s party!

Usually by the time I hit a thread someone has already said what I wanted to but better than I would have. If “me too” posts weren’t banned I’d be over 20,000 by now :stuck_out_tongue:

This is my 8,140th post! YAY! I rock!!!

sniff sniff

Do I smell someone’s pants on fire?

Why am I seeing ads for DUI attorneys? Was it the word “party”?

So, was it just happenstance this particular post contains exactly fifty words?

Enjoy,
Steven

Wow. I’m impressed you thought to check his word count. What inspired that? Using MS word it is 48. So I’m even more impressed you physicaly counted them you have far to much free time. Yeah so do I

I’m a big fan of fortuosity.

Enjoy,
Steven

I’ll say, it’s not often your count can be expressed as the sum of two cubes.

Lordy me, I feel positively impotent here.

I do remember thinking, “Whee! A hundred!” when I passed the mark, but I didn’t note it. I hope it would have been worth at least a balloon. Maybe a balloon animal.

Just for you!

CMC fnord!

Paging Doc Cathode!

Copying and pasting into Word, like boytyperanma, I also come up with 48 words. Not sure whether or not “y’know” should be one or two, or if the smiley counts.

Either way, it’s darn close; and no, it wasn’t intentional; and yes, you both have too much free time.

I consider compound words as two words. Unless either part of the word can’t stand on it’s own like co-dependent or pre-historic. But compound words where they hyphen is intended only group adjectives to disambiguate meaning, those are two words, IMHO(which does not count as four words).

Enjoy,
Steven

In that case it would be independent.

So… it depends.

Kind-of.

Enjoy,
Steven

This is my 18,769th post! Booyah, 137 squared!

One can only assume the hamsters ate the other 7705.

Now to the important part of this thread: “y’know” should be counted as one word. It’s a contraction, see?

The Google ads are all about balloon animals now… heh…

If I posted as often as I thought to I’d have horrendous carpal tunnel symptoms instead of the mildly twitchy forearm tendon I have today which makes me accidentally move stuff around when using my touch pad. It feels like my middle finger wants to flip the bird all the time, but I’m not pissed off at anyone. Interesting feeling, don’tcha know… <–two words, yes, due to contraction action. :stuck_out_tongue:
