"This is Plankton dressed as Sephiroth!"

My little girl and I were messing with Final Fantasy VII over the weekend. During the famous cut scene where Sephiroth stands amidst the flames of Nibelheim, we both started to sing
“F is for Fire that burns down the whole town
U is for Uranium …bombs!
N is for No Survivors!..”

A little later in the day, while she was playing with her magnadoodle she showed me drawings of Plankton as Sephiroth and Spongebob as Cloud Strife. They were, quite frankly, hilarious. Regretably, the magnadoodle is an impermanent medium. I’d like to see her concept executed by somebody with more mature talent (she’s 7) and in a better medium.
Any artistic dopers up to the challenge?

As someone who never played that game, I just had a very weird mental image of tiny oceanic animals clustered into the shape of the Tree of Life…

Plankton from Spongebob Squarepants. He’s the villain.

Sephiroth from the Final Fantasy games. He’s also the villain.

The thought of Plankton dressed up like Sephiroth personally has me giggling, to tell you the truth.

I’m having a giggling fit too. Now I’m imagining Sephiroth in a Hawaiian shirt, with ukulele accompaniment for his Latin chanting. Perhaps he should wield an insanely long mop from the Krusty Krab?

In my daughter’s pictures he was wearing the black leather outfit (she drew the boots big) and holding the Masamune. What really had me pissing down my leg was the long, white Sephiroth hair. Spongebob had spikey hair and a buster sword; that drawing was funny also, but not as good a combination as the two badguys.

This mental image is going to ruin the end of Crisis Core for me, but it’s so worth it. :slight_smile:
