Good hell, there is an entire Air Force Base near my house that employees 15,000 civilians including most of my family members and did so during Desert Storm. The only thing they noticed different was that it took longer to get on base during certain periods and that there was more air traffic, other than that. . . :rolleyes:

You replied to me 2 pages ago that you got my email, and would check my ‘story’ soon as you got back to work. That was last week. I sent you my SSAN in the email. If you were as up-to-date as YOU claim… you’d know that serial numbers were no longer issued after the 60s… that everyone who entered the military used their SSAN as their ‘serial’ number. So if you can’t find my military record, then you are the one who can’t do as you promised.

1st (and only) Duty Assignment with Electronic Security Command, changed name to Air Force INtelligence Command, changed name again to Air Intelligence Agency, 68th Intelligence Squadron, Brooks AFB, San Antonio TX.
Job Title: Defensive Command Control and Communications CounterMeasures Specialist 209X0, later changed to 1N6X1 (same job, different # due to AF restructuring)
Brooks AFB Honor Guard Member 1993-1996
Decorations: Small Arms Expert Ribbon, Expeditionary Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Achievement Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, National Defense Medal
Took terminal leave in February 1996, officially discharged from active duty March 17, 1996.
So that’s where I’m coming from and if you know as much as you claim to know, then you should have a clue at what that Expeditionary Medal means and quit acting like all military people want war.

I had a fight with a Colonel over some required safety equipment that would have cost the unit over $20,000. He refused to pay for it. So OUR guys were without the required safety equipment they needed to do their jobs.

Unit coins are actual minted coins from each sac, tac, mac, etc unit. They were obsolete after the late 70s/early 80s… cost too much. If you wanted one, you had to steal it from someone or find it at a flea market. Drinking game?.. who cares, I wasn’t part of the ‘old boys’ gang, women NCOs were barely allowed in the NCO Club, much less anything else.
