She is relevant to any discussion that portrays an unorthodox view of trans issues as exclusively right wing.
This notion that only people on the right have an issue with how the trans issues are being handled is incorrect.

yes, it’s dancing around the Mulvaney kerfuffle. But the thread wasn’t about “trans issue, are they right wing?” It was about “hey, there’s this beer that’s advertising itself as right wing”. the thread is about self-identified RIGHT WING folks. Folks who perhaps object to a transwoman on a beer because they claim that’s incompatible to being on the right. but at any rate, folks who identify so much with being on the right that they want to buy right wing beer.
So bringing up Rowling from left field is just looking to start a fight.
Wait, are there secret, non-public, warnings I don’t know about?
Well, you seem to be getting a lot of mileage out of this, at least.

I guess so! I wish you the best of luck finding a place where people with differing views can debate things, debate things, debate things.
I drank a few hundred gallons of beer prior to my twenty first birthday, as did many of my friends.
Oh, please. For years you’ve demonstrated an inability or unwillingness to step up your game in terms of how you enter discussions. You haven’t changed how you discuss things, and there’s no sign that you’re considering a change now. Your refusal or failure to engage in real debate doesn’t reflect on anyone but you.
Echo chamber? Nonsense. Even while typing this reply, I’m getting an alert that my ongoing spirited debate about gun control with @lumpy continues. I’m arguing elsewhere with someone about tenant rights and the merits of antidiscrimination laws in housing. I’ve had long back-and-forths with people on the appropriate role of “gifted” education, disagreeing with people both to my left and to my right. This place is a hotbed of disagreement, among people who disagree effectively and (more or less) civilly.
The difference is:
*If you’re not banned, I encourage you to start a thread in GD about Rowlings’s political affiliation, and I’ll be happy to school you. Obviously I’m not gonna do that here.
**Same
Not to mention other weekends.
Apparently so. Because I don’t think I know about them either.
You’re a minor until you’re 18 where I’m from but I get your meaning
The extra warnings are with your prior profile. They are recorded in one of the moderator forums. You knew about them at the time, but must have forgotten. You have a lot.
I strongly recommend you don’t hijack threads in P&E or GD. They are more strictly moderated than in the past. These rules have been in place since January of 2020 though.
I’m obviously not a mod, but damuri’s feigning ignorance about why conservatives are outraged was very transparent.
I am looking at my profile and I don’t see where the wanings are scored but 9 seems like a lot more than I remember but I could be wrong.
If you still have access to that site, I think those might have been transcribed incorrectly.
There were several warnings that were retracted.
They’re not in your profile and as I explained the warnings are recorded in a moderator forum.
But never mind the warnings. Do a better job of following our rules and you won’t be getting additional warnings.
I can’t see anything.

You should ask lumpy if he thinks this is an echo chamber.
My guess is that anyone that is not part of the chorus recognizes that this has largely become an echo chamber.
I have been here for about 20 years, since the invasion of Iraq when someone told me that this was one of the smartest places on the internet, and it was a reasonable claim back then. Now it is just an above average echo chamber.
Noone (including you) had a problem with my posts when I oppose the invasion of Iraq (noone seemed to have a problem with my posts back then). It was not until I started talking about racial discrimination in high school and college admissions that everyone suddenly thought my posts were bad.
It is entirely possible that I became senile at the same time that racial discrimination in high school admissions became an live issue.
This stands out as a strange comment to make.
Pretty much anyone in the UK would tell you that J.K. Rowling is pretty much a standard bearer for left leaning views.
There’s even a wiki page for exactly that so anyone is able to go and read for themselves. No new thread and no further hijack needed.
Hrmmm. So there is no way to see my disciplinary history?
Then I wonder why people think this is public information.
I will take another look at the rules. I didn’t realize they had changed. I had mostly been posting keeping to non-debate forums to post news about racial discrimination in school admissions generally and the Harvard lawsuit in particular.
Because . . . EVERYONE of you’re warning’s was made publicly in the thread you were warned in and listed in the ATMB thread’s about you’re suspension’s.
The vBulletin tab in your profile was a quirk of the software that Discourse doesn’t have.
Open’s a search’s and try damuri warning and you’ll see’s them, refine’s the search to just ATMB and you’ll find you’re suspension’s which list all you’re warning’s with links (which might not work) to the individual warning’s.
Something’s you should have done before admitting’s your a ‘onetrickpony’.
Maybe I’m being whooshed but what the hell happened with your spelling?
Anyway, here is a handy link. @damuriajashi, you have quite the record.
