This is what's weird

I’m in my den on the computer. I have television software but I’m not using it. My wife is in the living room watching the big screen.

I’m not listening, but I can hear what she’s watching, if you know what I mean.

She’s watching “The Bachelor”. But unbeknown to me she switches channels to some crime drama.

So even though I’m not “listening”, here is what I hear (para-phrased)

"She may end up being the woman I want to spend my entire life with. I choked her. I choked her. I’d choke her again".

I know the feeling. Razorette watches Bachelor – I think tonight is the finale or something. But yeah, that’s happened at my house. Of course, on the other hand, last night (Sunday) was, unbeknownst to me, a special two-hour “Brothers & Sisters.” So, I’m hunkered over the computer, switching between Gorillamask’s Spank Bank and the everlovin’ Dope, and suddenly I hear sirens and stuff. I wander out to grab another beer, hoping she’s watching something watchable – damn, still B&S, and Rob Lowe is down! Crap, she tricked me into watching that stupid show!
