This Just In...Fox News Channel is bunch of lying fucks

Seen Fox news today “Judge creates constitutional crisis by blocking Trump”

For feces and chortles I checked out Fox News for the first Musk article to stumble across where there was a top story that was basically cheerleading DOGE’s ‘cleaning the swamp’, to borrow an old phrase. This disgraceful…entity(?) (sure can’t call it a news organization) is celebrating an eviseration of the US government that’s making eight years ago look like nothing. Almost lost my appetite.
No need to link.

I saw a bit of Fox and Friends this morning. They were talking about those lazy government employees who refused to answer the email regarding what they did last week. They were hyped about the fabulous job DOGE is doing to make sure those employees wasting your tax dollars will be thrown out. They mentioned that Elon in his magnificent wisdom is giving them a second chance. They somehow didn’t mention that a lot of those people who did not respond were told not to by ::checks notes:: Kash Patel and Pete Hegseth. Lying by omission is still lying you hateful fucks.

How many of them spend most of their time playing golf instead of doing their job?

Fire that guy first.

It’s amazing how much the Right views government workers as lazy. With so many getting fired, they’ll be collecting unemployment and gasp WELFARE! Then the Right will be yelling at them to get a job. And if they get another federal job, they’ll be back to being lazy.

Government workers are just lazy. Immigrants on the other hand are all on the welfare and food stamps and stealing all the Black jobs.

double-dipping

I’d like to know who was going to read all those e-mails.

That’s easy: AI.

NPR just aired an interview with Fox News’ “comedy” host, Greg Gutfeld. The only word I can think of to describe him is “smarmy”.

The host played a clip of Gutfeld telling a racist joke, which he follows by mocking his audience for laughing at a racist joke. So it’s ok. It’s all meta-humor, you see. (No it’s not – it’s just a way for you to slide in the racism your audience is dying to hear.)

As I’ve mentioned before, they have Fox News on in the break room at work sometimes, so I’ve caught bits and pieces of Gutfeld. And I’ll admit, I’ve chuckled at some of his jokes. But you laugh at his gags for the same reason you would a Family Guy joke - not because it’s particularly funny or clever, but more out of shock that “Whoa, I can’t believe they went there.” And even Family Guy, as crude as it is, does that type of humor much better.

He engages in the usual right-wing humor: punching down. For instance, did you know Zelenskyy is short? Ha! He compared him to Napoleon, which would be more apt if Russia had invaded Napoleon instead of the other way around.

That’s when I turned off the interview. (Possibly before he even started speaking live). Zelenskyy has a Napoleon complex? Compared to anyone else in the room during his supposedly disrespectful White House meeting? Seriously?

How Fox is covering the stock market dive:

The GDP of the US was roughly $30 Trillion last year.

That EPA museum cost $600K.

Which is 0.00000002% of the GDP.

To put that in perspective, if you had a BILLION dollars in your bank account, that same percentage of your bank account would be $20. If you were a billionaire would you be stressing about that $20?

But no, that museum is an outrage, thank God the brave Elon Musk is on the case.

Recession, schmecession.

Stock market crash? What? Fake News?
Why the faithful blissfully march in step to their drummer.

While Fox News is slimy and I expect them to cover for the administration, I see at least two different timestamps on that collage and it’s impossible to tell what date any of those screenshots are from. Certainly it’s not a comparison of what different media outlets are saying at the same time.

I mean, the graphic is cute but doesn’t mean anything.

Go to Fox News.com right now. What do you see?

That graphic isn’t Fox News’ web site. My comment was solely about that graphic, not Fox News itself, as you well know.

I see “CNET Your guide to a better future”
