They are merely trying to mitigate the damages from a lawsuit that they will definitely lose. I expect they are approaching Smartmatic with an offer of a settlement.
And I hope Smartmatic (and Dominion) say “no thanks, we’ll take this to court and now we’re upping our damages to 4.5 billion. Thanks.”
I hope they bankrupt Lou Dobbs, and he ends up living in a cardboard box under an overpass.
Far more likely he’ll do just fine off GoFundMe and other RW grifting nonsense. Conning little old ladies out of their last few dollars to Stop the Librul Menace!
I can’t see it would help them any. That hey tell the truth NOW doesn’t cancel out the lies they told earlier. The lies that got them death threats and tarnished their reputation.
Unless FOX is willing to squeal in a way that will bolster their case against the others.
If it can be demonstrated that Fox’s recent recanting of its previous statements has the effect of restoring some of Smartmatic’s lost reputation, could this help to reduce the damages?
This guy looks like the scheming clergyman from Bedknobs and Broomsticks who was itching to court and marry Eglantine Price, so he could take over her cottage. Also, I listened to fifteen seconds of the twaddle he was dishing out, which gave me an impulse to offer apologies to the memory of Roddy McDowell.
I don’t know about the harassment stuff, but what caught my eye was this:
Cawthorn said during his campaign that the car accident that left him with limited use of his legs also ended his plan to attend West Point and join the military, but the Post reported that Cawthorn was denied entry to the military academy well before his accident.
And this:
The congressman also said at a speech at his college that he was left for dead in his car accident when his friend escaped and fled, and that he was declared dead. But that friend told the Post that he helped pull Cawthorn out of the car. An accident report reviewed by the Post also showed Cawthorn was declared “incapacitated,” not dead.
I read elsewhere that the lying fuck said right after the accident that he had no memory of the event. Just needed someone to throw under a bus.
