I was watching The Matrix, just to make myself sure it was a good movie, after the horrible Revolutions, which was about as satisfying as being beaten by a comically gigantic pair of diseased genitals.
So, someone mentioned Sentinels being built exclusively for search and destroy.
But how do the humans know?
It isn’t as if the only thing that soldiers do is kill things and do things generally militarish. Soldiers can be great musicians, cooks, and artists, while not in the field. Why not sentinels?
Why, sentinels could write soap operas. The Good, The Bad, and The Squid-Like, anyone? Surely, some Sentinels sit at home, bored, arranging matches or building card houses.
Sentinel Box Socials, Sentinel Art Galleries, Sentinel Olympics…
So, next time you watch a Matrix movie, read press on The Matrix, or read any of the spin-off comics, remember that behind the lethal claws, laser cutters, and many squinting, robotic eyes of sentinels, there’s probably a deep culture, and an entire race of machines who just want some love and acceptance.
Thank you.
