She’s got nothing to do with environmentalism, one way or the other. She’s not an environmentalist, she’s just ignorant / mistaken / wrong / stupid / crazy (Check all that apply). If I say that everyone should own a gun because deer are planning to kill us while we sleep (I’ve seen them watching me from the woods, on the edges of my lawn at dusk, making their plans!) I think that would make me a stupid crazy person, not a gun-rights advocate.

That’s bullshit on both counts. She’s not part of enviromentalism at all. She’s just an insane person. Environmentalism is a complete non-sequitur with regard to this woman. The OP did so try to connect this woman to environmentalism. As The weird One says, it’s exactly like claiming that a loony arming himself against aliens is “part of the gun movement,” or saying “this one is yours, gun rights advocates.”
