Extracting any kind of sexual favor for anything is wrong. No matter the ages, sexes, races or anything else of the people involved.
However, after having been on the receiving end of an accusation I’m leery of jumping on the “let’s burn them at the stake” band wagon. I’m always willing to give the benefit of the doubt, especially when the story is third hand at best.
However, I have never nor will I ever support the contention that she/he “got what they deserved” or “got what they asked for” because of the way they dressed, talked, acted or because of their age.

The majority? At one time the majority decided that (here we go again) slavery was right. If the majority is not governed (does not adhere to) a HIGHER STANDARD, the majority rules only by tyranny and force.
Pepper, you just COMPLETELY misunderstood me. OBVIOUSLY rape is wrong. But, because we’re not omnipotent and all seeing, it’s hard to know what really happened.

Yes, Sneevil, I am LDS. I have a very strong testement, and a firm faith in our Heavenly Father. I’m also the type of person who believes miracles and divine interventions happen on a daily basis. But I also have a mind of my own, and like to see us mere mortals actually think for ourselves. You know, figuring things out like “rape is bad”.
You are right, I don’t have proof of the slavery thing right here at my finger tips, mainly because I don’t have my school text book with me. But it says there, plain as day, “And many pro-slavery Southerners used the Bible to justify their actions.”
Gone With the Wind is another good example, they too used the Bible.
Too bad I don’t know what show I watching on the History channel that said the exact same thing.
