So, the place where the Scopes Monkey Trial took place is back in the news. This time for wanting to have homosexuals arrested.
The county board voted unanimously on a request to have laws amended so gays can be arrested for “crimes against nature.”
It appears that this is just an attempt; they haven’t actually made such a law yet, but, you’ve got to wonder what century these people think this is, or what country.

Lord, I love the South, but I hate some of the fucking people in it.
Please, help me escape this state.* I’m not gay, and I’m offended by this crap.
*I’m not kidding, folks, I want out of here. I just don’t have the money it takes to get me to a state that’s more civilized. I don’t ask for much, just the chance to live in a state where there’s no annual Klan meetings, there’s a desert, and I can have a decent paying job as a machinist. That’s not too much to ask, is it?
