She’s lying. The brownies have flour, butter, sugar, eggs and chocolate in them.
Cute.
I have to ask: dougie, do you have some sort of personal investment in this comic strip?
Are you seriously upset that I’m making jokes about Luann?
As for your claim that I’m imagining things or lying, what I wrote is what happened. I just made up the dialogue to point out the absurdity of the action. If it seems stupid when I describe it, that’s on Greg Evans.
Well, no, it actually isn’t, except in Bern and the reader’s minds… Again, it took 6 whole months to get to the payoff, but the contents of the bag weren’t drugs…or anything else worth stealing.
To put Viper’s actions into first person narration… ‘Hello, Dez’s presumptive roommate, here is the craft item she commissioned for you from me. Please give it to her and remind her what she offered to pay me for it.’
Maybe it’s ferret food.
None whatever. I’ve just been following it for several years.
I don’t know why I began reading Luann, but it is there with my Comics Kingdom with coffee in the morning.
Perhaps I am hoping to see Tiffany naked. :dubious:
You dreamer you.
One may hope.
Has her art professor been wearing women’s jackets all along or did he just start today?
You’re reading the Japanese version, which has been flipped for American audiences.
That he might be wearing women’s jackets doesn’t seem that implausible.
I beg your pardon?

Sorry, just a quip. Japanese comic books read right-to-left, not left-to-right the way we Yanks are used to 'em. So, often, Japanese comics, when translated into English, are also flipped, left-to-right, so we can read 'em the way we’re accustomed.
So that’s how the guy’s jacket could be seen as buttoning the wrong way: the image was flipped.
Like. Kinda. It was funny when Eric Idle said it…
And that would make Luann, familiar to us Occidentals as a left-hander, the only right-hander in a strip otherwise populated with southpaws.
Thank you.
If you hadn’t corralled it so early, I’d be fearful that Gilligan would show up soon.
Oh, wait, wait…why not have the boss come over for dinner and eat some by mistake!!! I could imagine the hijinks!
Prudence finally makes her appearance.
I have just one word to say: shudder…
Very theatrical-looking. Could be related somehow to Lon Chaney, Sr.
What is the problem? I thought that perhaps she was a lesbian.
