That’s not a question; it’s an insult.
If that’s the only level on which you can “debate”, I win by default.

An insult is to still pretend time does not exist.
This discovery was regarding degraded weapons that Saddan stopped building since 1998 or earlier. Still insisting that he did not disarm implies the found weapons were fully functional and ready to be picked up and used in battle. That remains the equivocating lie of the extreme right regarding this issue.
Another insult is to pretend that syllogism is what many (even reasonable dopers on the right) are using here, instead this is more accurate:
[ul][li]Bush lied when he said we all could die soon because of current WMD in Iraq.[/li][li]Degraded Mustard gas and sarin were found in Iraq[/li][*]Ergo, degraded mustard gas and sarin are not the WMD we did go to war for. [/ul]

Did you notice the cites provided that at least some of the WMDs found were still viable?

Shodan
Some (and based on previous history, those reports must be confirmed independently). Looking at the big picture, it is still a lie to say these were the WMD that justified the war.
Furthermore, even if one believes the dubious claim that these weapons are still viable in any sense that makes then WMD, one is still left with no evidence provided (or even plausible arguments presented) that our invasion has made it less likely that these things will end up in the hands of terrorists and used against us. Wasn’t that part of the argument…Or, did I miss something was the goal actually to make it more likely that any WMDs that did exist would end up in the hands of terrorists and used against us? Because if this was the goal, then I can see compelling arguments that the mission would have been a brilliant success if not for the fact that WMD turned out not to exist, at least in any form that was at all useful to terrorists.
