I am old enough to know (and have used) Wite-out, but I don’t get the irony. I am perpetually whooshed, I guess.

I’ve just realized the bottle on my desk is labelled “multi-purpose correction fluid”. Damn, I could have used it for all those other jobs!
All liquids are fluids, but not all fluids are liquids. That is, the class fluid comprises both liquids and gasses, just as the word gasses has to many Ses for my taste.
