It seems a useless point to bring up, but the hijackers kind of had to know that if they were bringing copies of the Koran in their luggage, they were about to be defacing them.

Rave, messy but interesting idea, especially with the lack of airline meals now days. There would be issues with allergies and such and it would add costs to distribute, and more than just moslems avoid pork, but only moslems care about the koran, so the koran is a better choice. With flight delays and such it would be unworkable to have pork at every gate, but thanks for a tasty idea.
I think this is a bad idea because the inconvenience isn’t worth making this guy feel safe. He can fly in fear, I’m fine with it.

Pork, on the other hand, is yummy. I consider anyone allergic to pork to be suspicious. There ought to be heightened scrutiny for anyone who wouldn’t take a free bratwurst and beer at the airport. Maybe there should be strippers, too, because we know that stupid Muslims can’t eat pork, drink alcohol, or look at non-veiled women.
Normally, all this stuff is only available in the business and first class lounges, but I think it is a great idea to move it out to the security line.

It seems like if they held the integrity of their Korans so sacred they might have left them home rather than take them along on the planes they were planning on crashing.

The last two that I recall (Afganistan, killed eight CIA officers, and Ft. Hood) were doctors. The 9/11 hijackers were mostly middle class and educated, some upper-middle class. I believe that there were another couple of doctors who tried to blow up an airport in Scotland.
