Thoughts about food that sound unintentionally snobbish

Have you ever thought or said something about food or drink that ended up sounding a lot more snobbish than you intended?

I took a sip of POM yesterday (the perfect match for a lunch of jojos from the grocery store hotcase!) and thought to myself, **“I prefer Turkish pomegranate juice to Californian.” ** The immediate mental follow-up, “How snobby is THAT? And wow, what a thought to go with jojos!”

Costco stocked Turkish pomegranate juice bottled by the Yakama tribe when I was 14, and I thought it was the elixir of the gods. That was six and a half years ago, and I still remember the flavor like it was yesterday. The POM juice I can get now is more bitter, less fruity, and less viscous. So is Langers.
