How about indicating in each thread if there is a Cecil Adams post or not? what you could do is write in some code that would include some sort of highlighted message if there is a C. A. post - something like, “1 C. A. post”, or something like that next to the thread. You could also have a message on the home page of the message board, indicating the latest thread with a C. A. post.
