Ever since the board changeover, the thread lisitings have been a bit shorter. And I recently realized why; instead of showing all the threads from the last twenty days, as before, the board only shows the last day. I changed this, but it keeps on going back to the default. While I enjoy this site, checking every single day to see if there have been new posts seems silly to me.

My “days shown” settings do not default back to one day or whatever it is. I always keep them on thirty days. Maybe your cookies aren’t enabled?
Go into your profile and set the default to however any days you want.
I have mine set to show threads from only Tuesdays and Thursdays myself. Of course I meant 'however many days.
Hpwever, as jdavis says here, the default was reset to “one day” to reduce the amount of work the web server has to do (and, I imagine, speed up access rates for all of us). So, evilbeth, you might wish to reconsider the “thirty days” default unless you really use the additional listings.
