After seeing this thread in the BBQ Pit, I was wondering if a pit thread was ever moved out of there for not meeting the Minimum Hostility Quotient? The thread didn’t seem angry at all. In fact, it seemed entirely civil. I’m not complaining about that; it’s nice to see a pit thread that isn’t loaded with profanity for profanity’s sake.

Just wondering…

The Pit is not necessarily reserved for hostility. It is also used for complaint and discussion of moderator-related activities, which are sometimes non-heated discussions. There have even been a few Pit threads in praise of moderator actions.
