Threaded / HYbrid Mode

Hmm. Never knew about threaded and hybrid views. Up there on the right, labelled “display modes”.

One thing it makes clear, though, is that it matters which post you reply to. ie If you reply to the 4th post in a 10-post thread (even if you dont quote the person) then you will show up beneath theirs, not all the way at the end, if people read in threaded mode.

News to me. was this obvious to everyone else?

Nope, I didn’t know it. Never paid any attention to that stuff, really.

That’s why I have threaded display disabled on my vBulletin site. Reminds me too much of a Matt’s WWWBoard-based site from 1994.
