Is there away to find other people’s responses to your posts? I use the Subscribed Threads link to see if there are any new posts within a thread that I have posted in. However, sometimes I only want to see if anybody specifically addressed my post. Is there a way to do this?
I don’t think so, because unless they quoted you or something, how’s the board gonna know if they’re responding to your post, or the post 4 above yours, or the one 3 under yours or so on?
Upper right of the thread(at the top). Display modes. Choose Hybrid.
Testing.
Never mind, didn’t work the way I thought it would.
The way I have to look for people’s responses to my posts is searching for the AClockworkMelon username, which’ll show all the threads I’ve been in. Then I go thread to thread, CTR+Fing for the word “clock.”
That’s how I’ve been doing it, but I’m lazy and was hoping for an even easier way to do it. I guess I’ll have to go on living my life the exact same way I did before.
As runner pat has already said, you can switch to hybrid (or threaded) mode.
This creates a tree view of the thread, based on quotes. Anyone directly quoting your post will be shown as a branch under your post.
Just try it and see for yourself.
I used to use this method, but got frustrated because it always showed your posts instead of mine.
