Threadspotting Poblem for Classics.

TubaDiva is asking for classic threads from the past. Apparently not ones that have run in Threadspotting before. I will use TS for Threadspotting for the rest of this thread. There are problems with the request. The list of past TS is long, and the individual TS links do not have the same name as the original threads. It will take way to long to try and open each old TS link to see if the old thread you want to submit is one of them. The other problem is many of the TS threads are dead. People won’t be submitting those threads though, because they won’t be on the board to be found. The only way I see Classic TS not being submitted from the old TS list is the fact that their are many more old threads than there are TS links, not because people find they are old TS links.

Anybody that can add helpful insight into this is welcome to do so.

The way I understand it from Rico (and from some other folks) we have many older threads that somehow got overlooked the first time around when they were fresh and new, threads that people have remembered and bookmarked.

Usually we wouldn’t consider an older thread for Threadspotting, don’t want to resurrect zombies or anything like that, so the thing to do is to showcase them differently. So here we are. Judging from the email I’m getting there’s quite a few people with old favorite threads like this, so it’s viable.
