Three Riddles

I’ve added three riddles to a free adventure game I’m writing, and I’d love to know what you folks think of them:

  1. The beast can live forever on hard liquor and fresh air, but dies with a glass of water. What is its name?

Fire

  1. It’s sometimes white but usually black. It will take you to your destination but never take you back. What is it?

Hearse

  1. It’s larger than the universe, faster than light, and capable of breaking the most determined man. What is it?

Nothing

The third one’s an old, old theme-- Anyone who’s ever riddled at all should come up with the answer.

And I had a different answer for #1: Thirst.

I had the same response, and came up with thirst for #1 as well. I like #2 quite a bit.
