To this date, I have tried to avoid post parties, but for me the timing and emotions are too strong to avoid.
It has been three years, less if you look at my joining date and more if you consider how long I lurked, that I became part of this community.
In that time, I have found not only a great outlet for overrun emotions (as I posted when my daughter was born) but also a fantastic place to brainstorm, gain new, fresh ideas, and find ot new things from around the world that I never would have known otherwise, no matter how many books I read.
I have also gained, and admittely lost (Cristi), a huge number of aquaintences and friends … some very close friends … and memories of great times wherever I have traveled, from NY to DC.
As my Three Thousanth post, I simply wish to say that though the Internet has its uses, the SDMB has made a home in my heart.
Thank you to all my friends, and let us continue to share our knowledge and thoughts with all we meet here and in life.
