The first two episodes are out. Very funny, very well-written.
I watched the first two episodes last night and, while it wasn’t terrible, I am not sure that I will continue. Maybe I am not the target audience, the writing seems to be aimed more at a tween/early teen age group. Other than the kid and Lisa Kudrow’s character, that seems to use the same mannerisms that she used when she played Phoebe Buffay, none of the other characters seem to have any depth.
That’s a shame. But I’ll give it a try. I LOVED the original movie.
Episode 3 has Super Hans and Izzy Hands. But a lack of swearing doesn’t suit either actor. And we finally get some small people in proper roles just like the film.
I’m enjoying it so far. Not exactly a challenging plot, but the scenery and sets look amazing.
I watched the first episode and I intend to keep up with it so far. It’s doing a good job of keeping with the spirit of the original.
