Mine is a quote from J. Wellington Wimpy of the Thimble Theater (AKA Popeye) comic strip. Wimpy had talked Popeye out of eating a potato, claiming that it looked like his uncle. It was just another of Wimpy’s scams, of course.

Mine comes from the thread about whether humans would make good pets for a race of Alien Overlords. I opined that we would not, because we would constantly be trying to kill them to win our freedom. Lemur866 replied to one of my posts with the line that became my sig, and which I consider to be one of the highest compliments I’ve been given on this board…
