Ah, some things do get shuffled over. Just not the stuff you’d want to be shuffled over. The Pit Sticky serves as a nice treshhold, and good justification when something that isn’t even a rant is moved over

I think part of the problem here is your baseless assumption that anyone really cares what you think about the subject.

About this subject? I’d expand it a bit further than that.

Mods?

You’re right, they’re wrong. The Pit has gotten entirely too fluffy in these last months. It is in need of a good curb-stomping by some jackbooted thugs. Too bad neither druids nor giraffes favor such footware.
It’s not really important what the BBQ Pit sticky says, just as long as it’s there. It really isn’t BBQ if it’s not sticky.

Aaaaaaarrrrrgh!!! Damn you, Borborygmi, I’ve just read your location.
Saaaaaay, that’s not some sort of mini-rant, is it?
No, I think outrage-wise, it’s probably the most valid pit possible. You’re lucky not to be tarred and feathered!

If any of you feel that a Pit thread is too mild, by all means, report the OP of the nonoffending thread. Seriously. If you think a thread is too fluffy, let a mod or two know about it. The mod may not act in the way you think is best, but mods don’t read every thread.
Please note that I am semi-retired, and I’m not on regular Pit duty any longer…mostly I just squish spammers when I happen across them.
