Anyone whose birthday is today can celebrate it with vodka. Why? Because Oct. 4 is also Vodka Day.

Ah ** Atreyu, ** 30 didn’t hurt tooo much. Someone told me the other day that 30 is the new 20, so figure the whole new level of cool you’re attaining. I’ll be 31 on the 18th, so I figure it’s the new 21. Woof.
My b-day irony is that of 4 people who work at my job, 3 of us share that birthday. I also have a stepsister with the same day and year, so we’re steptwins.

October 9th. So far no one has really mentioned it to me, which generally means a surprise party. Oh yay… I swear I die a little inside everytime someone throws me a surprise party.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, Flamsterette! And happy birthday to all my fellow Oct. 15 babies! I never guessed there were so many of us. I’m turning 25, which I guess is a big deal but I have no idea what I’ll be doing. Given that I’m currently broke and jet-lagged, I doubt I’ll manage to plan anything in time, so unless my friends have something up their sleeves it’ll probably be another quiet birthday. Nothing wrong with that though.
Mine is October 22.
Oct 19th here. I’ll be 26…Not that anyone cares.
My own history with surprise parties…
In February 2001, I planned one for my sister… she was turning 18. Everyone kept it a secret, and when she turned up at the designated location… the first words out of her mouth were: “I am SO pissed off!”
In September of that same year, I turned 25. My sister planned a surprise birthday for me, but I inadvertently found out the week before the event. (one of my friends let it slip on the phone… oops)
