Just watched both seasons and while the first half season was excellent, I think it got dangerously close to jumping the shark by episode 7/8 in season 1. Particularly when Anna and Whitey became an item even though he admitted to killing her little brother.
But once I got past that and decided to accept the weirdness of Jack and Angela’s fucked up dynamic. I was back on team Jack & Angela when I decided to accept whatever unlikely turn of events came next.
I think the writing and dialogue for Christina Hendricks character (Elizabeth) could have been better done because she’s a very talented actor.
