You rail against a capitalist society that requires you to pay taxes because you, personally have decided that you just don’t like some aspects of the system. You don’t want to report all of your income and pay your taxes, yet I’ll bet you’re perfectly willing to use public transportation and call the fire department when your little one-bedroom commune is on fire. Come on, if you’re going to really drop out of our evil society, go all the way! Refuse to tread on a public sidewalk! Avert your gaze when passing tax-funded art displays!
And then to make it all so wonderfully ironic, you have the audacity to complain that people don’t tip you well enough for the highly skilled and backbreaking work of lifting a bottle 12 inches and tilting it slightly.

Awwww oldscratch – the issue is not that people don’t tip you, but that you do not make ANY money other than your tips. Even when I’ve worked as a cocktail waitress I did receive minimum wage. So why does your club not pay you at all? That just sounds wrong to me.
It really sucks when people don’t tip.
And it sucks worst when your friends don’t tip and you cover for them and they mock you for it: “You don’t have to pay double. If I wanted to tip, I would, it has nothing to do with you.” Right. But it will look like we were all cheap, won’t it? I don’t want to be known as “one of those damn 4% tippers” the next time I come in.
So, not paying taxes is your method of protest? How can you make an effective protest against the gov’t without announcing it to that gov’t? It’s not much of a “protest” if they’re unaware of it. I have no faith in your numbers above “proving” that you’ve already paid your fair share of taxes. You’ve admitted to being a cheat and a scoundrel; why should I have any faith in your unsupported assertions now? More bullshit.
Neither do I believe you are “fighting for socialism.” I believe you are cheating the gov’t and thereby your fellow citizens. You won’t support the small amount of socialism this country now has, why should I believe you’d support it if it were fully in place. You’ve also claimed that people by not tipping you are asking you the perfrom a service without compensation. This, too, is utter bullshit. You have chosen, for one reason or another, to work for no corporate compensation. No one has asked you to do that, you’re doing for your own benefit as you’ve already stated. I suspect the reason you choose to work with no corporate compensation is a wholly self-serving justification. In other words, you don’t really support socialism if it hits you in the pocket. I’ve said this three times now and have seen nothing to lead me to believe anything other.
