So during a trip to a one stop shopping place, I picked up a home haircut kit, so I could have it on hand should I decide I couldn’t take my current shag (I was close to needing a cut when the lockdown started, and I just didn’t think of it). I’m quickly getting to the point where even if I never use it again, I’m willing to swallow the thirty bucks the kit cost to try using it, especially if this lasts another month and/or haircut places are slow to open or aren’t safe.
The kit has clippers and scissors. I do not own a mirror other than the one in the bathroom. I’m a dude who lives alone. These last two cut down (heh) on the relevant websites I’ve found quite a bit, but not enough. So I turn to the “public” to ask if there are any in particular that you found easy for a first timer, or tips in general. I don’t need to look good, just “sane” and “reasonable,” if you get my meaning, so I’m not bound and determined to keep the cut that my barbers have given me, especially if we’re indoors for another few weeks.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts and advice!
