I’ve already posted about this upthread, but it’s worth repeating.
In fact, the OP’s height might prove to be an advatnage in the gym. If you put an additional 10 pounds of muscle on a guy who’s over 6 feet, it may not be as obvious or noticeable than if it happened to a shorter man. Plus, shorter limbs make it easier to move heavier weight, giving the OP a leg up if trying to compete to see who is strongest.
Bodybuilders/weightlifters tend to skew shorter. The best are usually around 5’7" to 5’9". Yes, I realize that that’s still a big difference from 5’2", but it does speak to the potential that the OP has. 6 months to a year of weight training could be life changing.
