The rapper actually sounds a lot like Jay-Z. I’ve been listening to this group’s songs ever since you posted this, so just wanted to let you know that someone appreciated your thread. Holly’s first chorus in The Arcade is pretty damn hot.

After about a week with the album - there’s definitely some quality there. They’re still one album away from great, but lots of promise.
“Sex and Drugs” and “She’s a Freak” are both gold. I’ve cooled a bit on “The Arcade” just because it’s a bit gimmicky. “Robo Tech” is still good.
I’m not sure how it’s possible, but I honestly listened to the entire album once through the first time without noticing the 80’s kitsch. Seeing the videos, I was like :smack: of course!
Probably because I tend not to pay attention lyrics.

Though I’m not really digging Holly. Trying to, but even with the auto-tune, she just seemed meh…
