To anyone with control over the Sopranos

PLEASE!!! NO MORE ABOUT JOHNNY CAKES!!

I can deal with a gay mobster taking up over 1/3 of the season or the far too drawn out Artie Bucco episode or even AJs horrible attempts at acting but please, stop with the Johnny Cakes!! The actors having a discussion about them for 10 minutes as a means of figuring out each others sexuality is just too much. The episodes are only an hour. Have them meet in a gay bar and be done with it.

AMEN!

There’s SO much potential in this season.

Carlo: a completely underused and obscure character who, from the tiny amounts of scenes he has, is clearly the toughest and most old-school guy in the whole crew - give this guy a bigger story! He could really raise some hell.

Bennie: Some people would rather that his episode with Artie were a one-shot deal that ended with the cooking of the rabbit. I would like to see the tension continue, not just between Bennie and Artie but between him and Tony. Is Bennie made? If he is, Artie should be in BIG trouble for beating him up - I want to see what happens with it.

Rusty: They had him killed without even developing his story or character at all, and when he was finally whacked, it was a boring and ho-hum scene that they could have done so much more with.

Christopher: Formerly my favorite character, now is being completely wasted. His thing in LA with the movie deal was a real filler episode, I want to see some real stuff with his character and tensions with Tony - Chris is arguably the most developed character on the whole show by now, having gone from an immature kid to basically a man old beyond his years (look at his face, he’s starting to look like Paulie) - something really ought to be done with Christopher.

This Vito storyline sucks. And I’m not the only one who feels this way. Practically the whole Sopranos fanbase is calling for the end of it. In 10 years, The Sopranos will be remembered as one of the best shows on television, but for the exception of the “infamous sixth season.”

Ten minutes? What scene am I forgetting?

I’m a huge fan of the Sopranos, and this season has just blown goats. Considering its the last season, the talent in the cast, and the storylines laid as groundwork the last 5 seasons, it’s been one of the biggest wastes on television.

Good thread. Why not focus on Janice trying to gain influence via Bobby? That would be a lot more fun than Vito discovering NH.
