The Fella and I had it as a date night (my pick) last Friday. I liked it. It’s very much a movie made by a fan and it is glowy.

It was fun. Shatner looked like the ass I’ve always heard/read he is. (Seriously, almost every famous person has SOME nice stories about them. I’ve never (yeah, I haven’t searched them out, but I read things all the time.) heard one nice story about Shatner.)
The interaction between George and his husband was just so cute. I leaned over to Fella at one point and whispered, "oh yeah… they’ve been married for awhile’.

(I whispered at an Alamo Drafthouse, so I did risk expulsion.)

And Walter Koenig is so old*. Omg, I just wanted to give him broth.

*And if we’re lucky we all get there, my friends.

I guess Koenig had a wig for many years.

I have yet to see the movie, but will when I get a chance. Did anyone see Shatner’s movie where he interviewed all the captains from Star Trek(Stewart, Brooks, Mulgrew, Bakula)? He kept cutting them all off during interviews an it was painfully embarrassing.

I like Shatner, but he has some problems interacting with people.
