Honestly, I haven’t tried talking to her. She’s pretty new around here and has had many issues since she started working. She’s been on the verge of being fired since her second week, so I actually thought she’d be outta here pretty soon. It’s still amazing to me how you can be late for the shifts you do work and call-in for the rest and still have a job. I think they HATE to fire people around here. Before this week, she only worked one day with me, so I could cope then. Now her schedule has changed and she’s here 3 days with me. If it continues, I will have to talk to her.
To all the night showerers…
I too love taking showers at night. It IS such an awesome feeling to get in the bed all clean and smelling good. Plus I seem to sleep better with a nice hot shower just before bed. I have been having to take one lately because we go to the gym in the late evening. I also have to take one in the morning too though. It’s kinda dumb to take 2 showers in the span of like 7 hours, but my hair does not fix right in the mornings unless I wash it. Plus, I CANNOT wake up at 5:30 without that burst of water hitting me in the face.MelCthefirst
EWWW- I cannot get in bed at night without showering, and no one else is allowed to either. I would be changing my sheets every day!! I figure there is way more grime from a 16 hour day than from 8 hours prone and asleep.
(sometimes I take a quick one in the a.m. , too. The nightime one, however, is for the serious scrubbing and shaving and hairwashing.)
My MIL is the same way (I work with her). She is almost lethally allergic to most perfumes (as well as pretty much anything else that’s airborne , so there is a very strict no-scent policy in our office (she’s the accounting supervisor, in-house PC expert, HR person…).
I do believe you should speak to a higher-up, especially if they need one more reason to fire her!
