Forget it, naita . He’s too stupid to understand he’s wrong.
It’s at least heartening that even those disagreeing with the OP aren’t taking Elvis ’ side. There are three groups in this thread:
People who think **ElvisL1ves **is a stupid douchebag who thinks emoticons are arguments,
People who [del]don’t watch TV, don’t even OWN a TV[/del] [del]actually read Game of Thrones so you’re the one who’s not well-read[/del] want us all to know caring about a silly game like pro football is so beneath them, even though that’s not the issue, and
ElvisL1ves , all by his lonesome.
What about the people with the perspective to see how stupid all the butthurt about deflated footballs really is?
“Its immoral wah wah wah!”. Its deflated footballs, seriously, dry your eyes.

Whats funny is now anyone who thinks that description might apply to them is going to let us know how wrong you are, because the mere idea of having an opinion on professional sports is beneath them.
How weird, then, that it very much didn’t happen 3 posts above yours.

Like, for example, a defender on red team clearly interferes with a receiver on blue team. Fan of blue team screams “that’s obviously pass interference!” and the fan of red team says “nope, not at all, what are you talking about?!”
And then a few minutes later, a defender on blue team clearly interferes (to the same degree) with a receiver on red team. The red team fan screams “That’s pass interference! It’s obvious!” and the fan of blue team says “Nope! Not at all! That’s not remotely interference”
What I’m saying is that someone who can’t recognize their own biases in such an obvious, inconsequential situation in which their world view is not under threat, and they’re full blown blind apologists/denialists over it - if they can’t clear that extremely low mental hurdle - then they have no chance of becoming enlightened in areas that actually do matter, and which their biases substantiate their worldviews. If you can’t see you’re biased to a reality-denying extent over sports, how would you ever see it on something more substantial?
So, you’re saying you’ve met Elvis.

I really haven’t read the thread so I don’t know. But if you’re going to pull the ‘I told you so’ now that this information has been released, the OP had better provide evidence for his position back when the topic was originally discussed.
Otherwise everyone at the time was guessing and the person who happened to be right doesn’t have much to crow upon now.
I really didn’t read your post, but anyone who goes on about how much they loved The Phantom Menace in the middle of a football pit thread better be able to justify Jar Jar Binks.

That’s not Jar Jar Binks! That’s Sebulba!
Fuck this Tom Brady bullshit, this is the real scandal!
This has gotten nutty. It appears those texts pretty much damn Brady into a fine situation. Pun intended.
Do I think it helped them win the AFC Championship? Maybe… Did it help them win period? No.
But it is about integrity. Brady lied, should be fined, and should apologize.
At the end of the day, Brady led the greatest 4th-quarter comeback in Super Bowl history against the greatest defense of his generation…AFTER everyone knew about Deflategate.
So, keep this in perspective. A couple psi here and there does not a great quarterback make…and I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if Manning liked his balls a bit deflated and Rodgers liked his a bit over-inflated .

Except Mr. Kraft is now saying the report is pure rubbish,
but he and his team will accept the NFL’s punishment and fine over their incorrect and inaccurate findings.
It’s probably because he’s a great (read: rich) guy, and just wants to put an end to all this diversion from playing great football.
During the off-season.

Looking on from the outside, that whole deflated football thing just seems like a whole load of butthurt nonsense. Page after page of frothing sanctimony about such a trivial issue, its hard not to suspect that it is only driven by a more general butthurtedness towards the Patriots.
So to have an “I told you so” thread when the official findings seem to indicate nothing but another load of sweet fuck all, well, thats just kinda sad.
The balls might have been a little flat, Brady likes them a little flat, but who gives a fuck? Crowing about this issue just makes you look like a tit.
You obviously give enough of a fuck to inform everyone of this.
So what? Lance Armstrong probably won a Tour de France before he started doping, too. Maybe Ben Johnson would still have won Olympic gold without steroids. I doubt anyone thinks the difference between Brady and Jay Cutler is just ball pressure, but the whole point of a bright-line rule is to avoid the sort of subjective “what if?” you want to get into.

Emphasis added. Probably not true, even if your larger point is valid. You just picked a bad example.
I wonder how many times in your life you have written something to that effect?
And yet, here you still are.
As I recall, the evidence in the SCA trial indicated that he began doping in 1999, which (theoretically) means his 1998 win was “clean”.
That doesn’t even mean anything. But hey, have a cookie.
Doesnt care so much that he has posted three times and brought snacks… seems legit.
