Nice thread… always nice to look back and think about the good things that happened…
I am 25 from NJ, USA.
The best thing that happened to me… I got engaged!
My biggest wish for next year is that the wedding goes as smooth as possible (at least better than the actual planning)
The promise I made to myself is that I will try to find a better…well… higher paying job.
Okay, here goes …
I am 27 now, but will turn 28 on Christmas Eve, and I’m from northern NJ.
The best thing that happened to me this year was that I reconnected with an old friend I’d missed dearly … unfortunately, it took the death of another close friend to get us back together.
My biggest wish for next year … well, lottery numbers, perfect happiness and Johnny Depp are probably a little out of the question, so I’ll go with wishing I nothing INCREDIBLY bad happens, other than that, I’ll take it as it comes.
My promise to myself last year was to be more selfish and less please-everyone-all-the-time, and that worked out nicely. My promise for 2004 will be to save my damn money and not break out the wallet every time I see something I don’t really need.
