Here, watch this satire, (which has different lyrics as far as I can tell) and the “Mai Hee, Mai Hu” will be driven out. 
It looks to me like they had great fun parodying it. They sing about “bailar” (dance) and fiesta (party) instead of “Allo, salut”.
Heh, my friend and I were flailing around dancing like fools and singing it to each other over video chat for almost an hour and a half today. She’d been bouncing around for a while too before we started chatting. The song seems to have that effect on people.
On a different note, we both agreed that guy with the square wireframe glasses is hawt. :o
