Toaster oven with thermostat lever control?

Does anyone make a toaster oven with a traditional lever control? We’re trying to replace an old Black&Decker Toast R Oven but only finding units with dial timer controls for the toast setting. The person we’re buying for wants the lever control as they seem to be thermostat controlled vs the timer dial ones which will happily burn the crap out of your toast if you set the dial too far. The toast setting on the dial timer usually appears to be an add-on to the constant rate mechanical timer device that is used for the oven setting.

Maybe this experience is soured by the bottom-of-the-line timer dial models. Do any dial timer ones have thermostat controls that help avoid burning?

can’t offer much help, but I seem to remember my parents’ toaster oven back in America had both a dial timer and a heat setting, so yea I believe they do exist. THis was a few years ago, though, so my memory could be false. I know i never burned my toast, though
